Future Directions in Telecommunications and ICT

4th Annual Celtic Event 2009 in Paris, France
11 and 12 March 2009

The Celtic Initiative will organise its forth official event on 11th and 12th March 2009 at the Marriott Hotel (Rive Gauche) in Paris. The Event is target to decision makers, managers, and technical experts from telecommunications industry, operators, and academia. The Event is open only to personally invited experts.
Objectives: The main objective of the event is to present the current status, the available results and developments of the running Celtic projects. Furthermore, the event will provide an excellent opportunity to show the state-of-the art of the telecommunications development towards integrated next-generation telecommunications and multimedia systems for seamless use across mobile and fixed networks and to discuss the needs on future research in these areas.
Exhibition: At the exhibition, which will run in parallel to the workshop and conference sessions, Celtic project teams demonstrate their achievements, demos or prototypes and discuss their results with interested experts.

Note: The day before the Event (10 March) Celtic organises again a special Information Day related to the new Call 7, which will be launched in 2009. This Information day is particularly interesting for people who intend to prepare a new proposal and to discuss the idea with other experts.
